Please read the following Hartford Courant editorial that I recently co-authored. The position Connecticut has taken is unconscionable.
I urge my Connecticut readers to call your state representatives and let them hear your voice urging that this discriminatory mandate be reversed.
For those of you outside of CT a letter to Governor Malloy would be helpful.
I have just received confirmation that this Thursday, August 27th, at 5:30, a public hearing concerning this matter will be held at the City Hall in Hartford. There will also be a news conference at 5 PM.Naturally, the more people we have there the better.
