John D’Angelo is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in both the healthcare and martial arts fields. With a diverse background that encompasses physical therapy, energy work, and expertise in various martial arts disciplines, he brings a unique perspective to the practice.
With over 10 years of experience at Whole Body Medicine, John has worked closely with renowned holistic physician Dr. Breiner to tackle some of the most challenging cases and bring healing to individuals facing complex health conditions. Together, they have recognized the crucial role of energy flow in the healing process, understanding that true healing cannot occur until proper energy balance is established. John’s profound knowledge of energy work has allowed him to play a pivotal role in restoring and optimizing energy flow in patients, paving the way for profound healing transformations.
John’s journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac College in 1975. He then pursued postgraduate studies at NYU and the Krusen Research Center in Philadelphia in 1975-1976. John continued his academic pursuits at Temple University, where he served as a Staff Physical Therapist, Director Intern Program, and Clinical Professor of Clinical Arts at the School of Medicine from 1976 to 1977. Following that, he served as the Director of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Northeastern Hospital from 1977 to 1980.
Alongside his work in the field of physical therapy, John also explored other avenues of healthcare. He worked as the TENS Program Coordinator at Dow Corning Wright and taught at the Doylestown School of Acupuncture from 1977 to 1981. It was during this time that he began delving into hands-on energy work, which has remained a focal point of his practice to this day.
Since 2002, John has dedicated himself full-time to energy work, utilizing his extensive knowledge and expertise to help individuals achieve balance and well-being. His holistic approach combines traditional techniques with cutting-edge practices, allowing him to tailor his methods to each client’s unique needs.
John’s passion for martial arts and energy systems dates back to his childhood. He started his journey by studying Chinese and Japanese martial arts, focusing on Sui Lum Chee, a Qi fighting and healing technique. From the ages of 13 to 17, he traveled to Japan to further his martial arts education. Over the years, he has studied and taught various martial arts forms, including Aki Jytsu, Wing Chun, Shotokan karate, Gojoryu, Judo, Kyusho, and Kung fu.
John’s extensive experience in both healthcare and martial arts has shaped his unique approach to healing and wellness. Through a fusion of Western and Eastern practices, he aims to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual balance in his clients. With his diverse skill set and unwavering dedication, John D’Angelo is committed to helping individuals achieve optimal well-being and unlock their full potential.
