FAQ'S ABOUT IV THERAPY

Yes, our IV therapy is safe. Before you receive any treatment, your health history is carefully evaluated, and your vital signs are taken. Every IV is performed by one of our IV nurses and is under medical supervision. Our IV ingredients are obtained from reliable and accredited pharmacies and suppliers. After your IV session, you may resume your normal activities.

Many patients experience a boost in energy and a sense of wellbeing after their first IV.  Since many of us are low in critical nutrients, the cumulative effects of multiple infusions produce the most significant benefits. An overall improvement in energy, sense of wellbeing, immunity, are just some of the positive outcomes that can occur.

If you are very toxic, particular IV protocols can stimulate a previously underperforming detoxification process. You may experience detoxification symptoms after several IV’s. Symptoms of detoxification include headaches, fatigue, and flu-like feelings. These symptoms are a sure sign that the IV is helping to boost your body’s natural detoxification systems. As you continue IV’s sessions, improvements in health are sure to follow.

Please drink plenty of water, especially starting 1 hour prior to your IV. This will make your veins more easily accessible for the IV nurse. It is also a good idea to consume a snack or a little food prior to your session.

Very few medications interact with the IV therapy. While filling out your health forms, and when speaking with the nurse, it is important for you to remember to put down all medications you take, as well as any known or suspected allergies.

Side effects are generally non-existent or very mild. Bruising or soreness may occur from the IV site and is commonly short-lived. A vitamin smell in your urine, metallic taste, or flushed feeling after certain IV drips are normal. Please make the nurse aware of any known allergens so that these ingredients can be avoided in your IV. If you experience any worrying symptoms, please advise the nurse.

In general, your IV should take between 30 minutes to one hour. The nurse will administer your drip at a safe and comfortable rate. You can spend your time relaxing, reading, listening to music, or working on your tablet or laptop device while connected to our free WIFI. Feel free to bring your device and a headphone to your session.

Our staff is well trained to easily find good veins; most people will barely feel the IV placement. At the most, you may feel a slight pinprick.

We have a licensed physician, who oversees the operations of the IV center. He may or may not be present at the time of your visit. One of our professional, licensed IV nurses will administer and monitor you while receiving your infusion.

Adding oral supplements to a healthy diet is a wonderful way to enhance your health and wellbeing. However, not all supplements are readily absorbed. The quality of the product, and even the health of your own GI tract, may ultimately result in only a small percentage of what you ingested arriving into the cells of your body. However, the moment your IV infusion begins, powerful nutrients are instantly circulated into your blood stream and then readily absorbed by your cells. IV nutrient therapy bypasses the digestive process, delivering 100% of pure quality nutrients to your cells.

IV therapy works by infusing essential vitamins, minerals, and amino acids directly into the body. IV Therapy can support treatment for many concerns and conditions, including youthful aging, enhanced athletic performance and recovery, increased energy, immune system boost, detoxification, alleviation from the symptoms of a hangover and more. Our IV menu is designed to offer information and benefits of each IV as well as a list of ingredients in each drip. Boosters are also available. In addition, you can find a brief description of the vitamins, minerals and amino acids that are either in your drip, or may be added to your drip. If you need additional guidance, please ask your IV nurse.

Depending on your nutritional hydration status, you may see dramatic effects after your first IV. Those who receive regular IVs will generally notice improved energy and overall improvement in health and wellbeing.
